Verstappen wins the Canadian Grand Prix for the third consecutive time
Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, the world champion for the past three years, secured first place in the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, the ninth round of the Formula 1 World Championship, held at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. This marks his third consecutive win at this event.
Verstappen, who started from the second position and regained his winning form after finishing sixth in the Monaco Grand Prix in the eighth round, finished ahead of Britons Lando Norris (McLaren) and George Russell and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
