Bayern Munich backs out of signing Bayer Leverkusen's star
The German newspaper "Kicker" reported that Bayern Munich's management will not sign defender Jonathan Tah, the star of Bayer Leverkusen, during the summer transfer window.
Jonathan Tah had been linked with a move away from Leverkusen this summer, with Bayern Munich showing interest in signing him after his impressive performances with his club last season.
However, the newspaper noted that Bayern Munich's management decided not to pursue the signing of Jonathan Tah because the club's sporting directors are not convinced of the player's abilities.
Bayern Munich will not sign Jonathan Tah
The newspaper added that despite Jonathan Tah's desire to move to Bayern Munich, the German club pulled out of the deal at the last moment.
The report explained that Bayer Leverkusen had set a deadline for Bayern to finalize the signing of Jonathan Tah, which was midnight. As a result, it is highly likely that Tah will remain with his current club for another season.
It's worth noting that Jonathan Tah's contract with Bayer Leverkusen runs until the summer of 2025.
